Audit Manager (Job ID 0001)

Responsibilities

  • Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients
  • Detect and communicate accounting and auditing matters to partners
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Interact with clients to ensure efficient information flow from the client to the audit team
  • Develop client proposals, presentations, and other client related documents
  • Play an active role in the management and supervision of the personnel within the audit practice
  • Understand and utilize Audit Methodology
  • Supervise and train Audit senior, Audit associates, and interns on engagements


Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting
  • Must have active CPA license
  • Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience for at least two years
  • Flexibility to work on non-attestation services such as bookkeeping, M&A, human resource, and IT advisory services
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Japanese language skill is a bonus

Audit Senior (Job ID 0002)

Responsibilities

  • Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients
  • Detect and communicate accounting and auditing matter to managers and partners
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Interact with clients to ensure efficient information flow from the client to the audit team
  • Understand and utilize Audit Methodology
  • Supervise Audit associates and interns on engagements


Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting
  • CPA or parts passed required
  • Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Flexibility to work on non-attestation services such as bookkeeping, M&A, human resource, and IT advisory services
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Japanese language skill is a bonus

Audit Staff (Job ID 0003)

Responsibilities

  • Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients
  • Detect and communicate accounting and auditing matters to seniors, managers, and partners
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Intermingle with U.S. and Japanese based clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient
  • Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient
  • Understand and utilize Audit Methodology


Qualification

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university and eligible to sit for the CPA exam
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and solid oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions as directed
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
  • Flexibility to work on non-attestation services such as bookkeeping, M&A, human resource, and IT advisory services
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Japanese language skill is a bonus

Tax Manager (Job ID 0004)

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in corporate income tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax consulting
  • Must have active CPA or EA license
  • Demonstrate leadership, problem solving and solid oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills in tax compliance and tax research
  • Manage, develop and mentor staff assisting with professional growth and development of staff
  • Flexibility to work on non-attestation services such as bookkeeping, M&A, human resource, and IT advisory services
  • Japanese language skill is a bonus
